Joey van Heerden

Joey holds a degree in Child and Adolescent Developmental Psychology and has dedicated a career to helping students reach their full potential. Originally from South Africa, where the passion for teaching first began, Joey has taught in three different countries—South Africa, China, and now Thailand—gaining diverse experiences that shape Joyful Learning ESL’s approach. With a strong belief that education should be both effective and inspiring, Joey designs curriculums that are tailored to the needs of young learners and adults alike.

As Owner and Curriculum Developer, Joey’s mission is to make English learning accessible, meaningful, and enjoyable for every student.
